This is a beautiful example of a very well taken care of Mustang that lived a good life. This was a base model convertible and used a "U-code" 170ci Thriftpower L6 engine borrowed from the Falcon, as well as a three-speed manual transmission and retailed for US$2,368. Standard equipment for the 1965 Mustangs included black front seat belts, a glove box light, and a padded dash board. This particular mustang is equipped with vinyl black bucket seats, 3 speed floor shifter, an aftermarket cassette radio, and original factory gauges. The Thriftpower L6 runs extremely smooth and quite for a comfortable driving experience. Paired to a manual 3 speed transmission it makes this car a great cruiser. The exterior has been refinished in a green metallic and is driver quality. Originally, it was a "K-code" Silversmoke Gray. Overall, this Mustang is history rich, drives great, and is something that will start conversation everywhere you take it.
