A beautifully one-off custom 1955 VW type 1 turned into custom hot rod. This is a very unique and fun car to drive that turns heads anywhere you take it! The black top can be removed to cruise on a nice summer day. Weighing in at 1300lbs curb weight, this VW has an excellent power to weight ratio that gives this ride a very unique sporty feel. Featured in hot VW's magazine in 2003 as a black tan combo, this car has since been repainted a cherry red as well as reupholster interior to match. A duel carburetor system has been added to feed the 200hp air cooled motor that sounds very mean. This car has a rich custom history, going from black to red and being featured in two different publications over the course of its life. All the metal work was done with exponential care and this becomes very apparent when you look closely at the components. The engine bay is gorgeous and will catch many eyes at any car show you take it too!
