For fans of early '70s Mustangs, this 1972 fastback Mach 1 is a neat find. It's got a sweet-running 351 Cobra Jet motor, a great color combination, and a very appealing price tag. Exceptionally well finished, it offers a lot of desirable features all in a great body style. This 1972 Mustang Mach 1 is equipped with; power steering, power brakes, Factory A/C and the top-of-the-line 351 Cobra Jet engine. It is paired to a C-6 automatic transmission with a 3.25 standard rear gear. The car is simply a fun, comfortable and easy to drive Mach 1.
It is sporting a beautiful black paint finish with gold stripes. This however is not original to the car, as it was born a bright red car from the factory. The black paint job was professionally done and is beautiful, which is hard to do with black paint! The interior is restored to original specs in black vinyl, with new seat covers, carpet, door panels, headliner and a dash/console that looks brand new. It is equipped with its original radio and fold down rear seats that are a cool and iconic fastback feature.
The undercarriage was fully restored and has all new rubber providing a smooth, quiet and sporty ride quality. Overall, this is a beautifully restored Mustang Mach 1 with all the right features, equipment and look.
