This 1995 Mustang started its life as a GT and was built as a Cobra R clone with the correct 351CID Windsor roller cam engine but stroked to 391CID and equipped with AFR 185 aluminum heads. This motor puts down an easy 389RWHP and 425ft-tq at Colorado altitude. The real Cobra Rs did not come with A/C or a back seat. With this one being a clone the back seat and A/C were retained but you still get all the power and handling of the R. The R suspension configuration was installed front to back to provide superior handling with the high horsepower engine. The hood is correct from ford for the Cobra R. The engine can run on two tunes; E85 and 91 octane fuel. The E85 must be used to reach full power potential. Will pass Colorado emissions. Overall this R clone was built right and has significantly more power than the real deal Cobra R.
