Offered by Cars Remember When is this restomod 1970 Chevelle Convertible finished in a stunning silver and black paint. Straight body in excellent condition on a set of 17'' wheels. All of the chrome, badging and trim is in good shape and shines nicely. The interior is nicely restored with all new upholstery, carpet and door panels. The dash is in excellent condition with a full set of factory-style gauges with a tach. Cold Vintage A/C and a power convertible top make this the ultimate cruiser. An aftermarket Sony radio is utilized to control the kick-panel speakers and subwoofer that are powered by 2 different amplifiers neatly presented in the trunk.
Under the hood is a strong running Ram Jet fuel injected 502 big block V8 engine. Complete with a custom cold-air intake, headers, braided fuel lines, heavy-duty radiator, and custom valve covers. Paired to a 5-speed Tremec transmission makes this an absolute blast to drive. You can easily burn the tires through the first 3 gears if so desired. The 502 puts down some serious power and will cruise with ease on the highway in 5th. A rebuilt suspension with many new rubber components provides a safe and tight chassis.
