This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino appears to be born as an original SS396 however at some point in the car's history a strong 427/454 engine was installed in place of the original 396. It is backed by a TH400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end. It is highly optioned and is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, factory A/C, and all the SS equipment such as the rally gauges with tachometer. It is running an awesome-sounding dual exhaust system with electronic ignition. Some suspension upgrades have been done such as front upper and lower tubular control arms which provide better handling and adjustability. Rear lower trailing arms have been replaced with stronger aftermarket units.
