Offered by Cars Remember When is this gorgeous 1964.5 Mustang 2-door hardtop. This car recently underwent a total rotisserie restoration and is in amazing condition with only 3,600 miles since completion. Finished in a beautiful candy apple red paint with the black vinyl top makes it quite the head turner. The body is razor straight and shows extremely well. The interior is nicely restored will all new upholstery and carpet. The entire car is spotless top to bottom.
Under the hood is a 302 Ford V8 engine hooked up to an automatic C-4 transmission. This engine was pulled out of a 1989 Mustang GT and is a 5.0 H.O model. The fuel injection manifold was removed and a 4-barrel carburetor manifold was used. This is an OEM roller camshaft engine which has huge driveability and performance improvements. The undercarriage is fully restored with all-new rubber and power 4-wheel disc brakes. An added power assist steering motor underneath the dash makes it easy to maneuver in parking lots as well.
