This is a very unique, nicely built 1965 Dodge Coronet 500. The body overall is in good condition with a blue driver quality paint finish and black painted stripes under the clear coat. A cowl hood has been added to allow the 496 big block to fit nicely under the hood. All of the trim, badging, and chrome is complete and appears to be in very good condition. The 17in wheels tie everything together and give it a great stance as well as handling with the low profile tires.
Opening the hood exposes a custom built 496 cubic inch big block. This is built off of a 383 Mopar platform and stroked with a bigger crank and rods to a 496. Documentation for the engine work is included with the sale. This motor was built right and is a torque monster. You can't beat a Mopar big block with aluminum heads and dual quads; the power and sound are unmatched.
The interior is nicely restored with new headliner, seat upholstery, carpet and door panels. The dash and console appear to be original with a nice set of factory gauges. An aftermarket tach has been added in the console. The bucket seats are very comfortable and the cab is spacious. The undercarriage is lightly restored with new brakes and mostly new rubber all the way around. Overall this 1965 Coronet is a rare, highly desirable car with all the right upgrades. This car is a ton of fun to drive and will start conversations anywhere you take it.
