This is by far one of the cleanest, original, and best showing 1955 Chevrolets on the market. This 2-door hardtop model is beatifully restored with all-new body and frame bushings. The past history of this car is unknown other than it was in storage for a very long time. Our best guess is it sat in a garage or barn and was never driven, and then someone did a frame-off restoration to bring it back to its "like-new" glory. The previous title shows a purchase date of 1989 but was not registered until 2019 when the vehicle was sold to us. It also shows 3,659 actual miles and when we got the car the odometer read 4,128. This car runs, drives and feels like an original 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air.
Under the hood is a date code correct 265 Power Pack V8. This was the first year the small block chevy engine was available, and it became one of the most popular and reliable engines of all time and was used for decades. It is paired to a 3-speed manual on the column to make for a fun and smooth driving experience. The overall running condition is excellent. The suspension and undercarriage are fully rebuilt with all new rubber and shocks.
The exterior paint is excellent and shows extremely well. This car will get a lot of attention anywhere you take it! All of the trim, chrome, and emblems show great. Complete with original style wheels and hub caps. Please look through all the photos to really appreciate this car! CALL TODAY 720-465-5104
