This 1969 Dodge Daytona is a highly documented example. Special ordered brand new by Bob Kerbs in B5 blue at Walt Sparrow Dodge. It has lived its entire life in Colorado and shows just 43,041 miles on the odometer. This very well could be the last 1 owner HEMI Daytona in existence. It comes with all its original purchase paperwork and many magazine articles have been written about this story over the years.
Along with the standard Daytona items, like HD suspension and brakes and all the body mods, Bob also specified the code-E74 426 Hemi engine, which came with the HP radiator, fan shroud and a seven-blade Torque Drive fan. He also chose the D34 TorqueFlite; A32 Super Performance Axle Package (4.10:1 axle ratio, 9¾-inch Dana 60 rear with Sure-Grip, and power disc brakes); C16 console; N85 tachometer with clock; S77 power steering; G15 tinted windshield and the R11 Music Master AM Radio. Chrysler built 503 Charger Daytonas for the U.S. market and only 70 were equipped with the 426 Hemi. We believe this to be the only B5 Blue example.
This Daytona remains in excellent survivor condition and is mostly original. Pictures of the engine, transmission and rear differential can be found in our photo gallery for your review. The black bucket seat console interior appears to be all original.
This vehicle is now offered for sale at Cars Remember When Auto Sales on consignment from the Kerbs family. Asking $2,200,000 or best offer.
